Meera T. Parikh is one of the partners at Poniatowski Leding Parikh Law Corporation. Meera specializes in business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and creditor’s rights in bankruptcy and receiverships. Meera graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. She then continued her education at Santa Clara University School of Law where she received her J.D. and certification in High Tech law. Meera is also a member of the US Patent Bar and was previously a patent attorney in Silicon Valley.
Pleasanton Human Services Commission
In addition to her law practice, as part of her commitment to the community, Meera serves as an appointed member of the Pleasanton Human Services Commission. This Board advises the Pleasanton City Council on the human services needs of the community and also provides ideas to service the socially and economically disadvantaged, and youth and elderly of the community.
The mission of the Human Services Commission is to assist Tri-Valley residents in meeting their basic needs, and strive to promote efficient and effective allocation of all the available public resources.
Along with the other board members, Meera has worked side by side with other groups that share the same mission. Some of these groups include homeless assistance programs, computer classes, focus groups, support groups, nutrition education programs and much more.
